As the torso and the abdominal muscles help tight and stabilized, rotate the leg clockwise five times and the same anticlockwise. Switch the legs and do it for 2-3 repetitions to each leg.

Time for a tree pose; stand straight with the feet planted on the ground. The arms should be at sides and the body in alignment. Breath in as the right leg is bent pulling the heel up until when it rests onto the inside of the left thigh. Get good balance and keep to this position then at a slow pace push the arms over the head with the palms touching one another. Then press the knee back without making any moves to the hips. This should be held for 30 seconds, then change sides. Do this for about 2-3 repetitions. There are other exercises such as the plank and the side hip flexion and extension. Try them out.
